Hot start, idling voltage boost:
This function allows for arc ignition during first contact of the electrode with material. Significantly improves later phases of the welding process. After starting the welding process, the voltage drops to the proper current set by the operator.
Anti-stick:
Carefully drag electrode away in case it sticks to the material. Not possible to weld the electrode to the material (permanent bond with the surface)
