Vibration damping
The buffer section is designed to have a lower hardness level (approx. 48 HRC). The higher level of elasticity means that this section is effective at damping any vibrations that occur, thereby significantly lowering the risk of breakage at the insertion end.
Considerably longer service life
The insertion end is designed to be harder (approx. 52 HRC), which extends the service life considerably.
Chisels remain sharp
The working area made of 60 HRC quality steel is extremely hard and therefore particularly tough.
Minimal risk of sticking in materials in comparison with round versions

For general demolition and breaking-through work (spiking, mortising, knocking out, pounding, breaking open, breaking out etc.)
- Point chisel: For hard materials, e.g. concrete. The entire impact energy of the hammer drill is concentrated on a single point.
- Flat chisel: For softer materials. Can also be used for "marking" masonry to be knocked out.
