  • Direct application possible

  • Immediate traffic approval

  • Can be covered with hot tarmac

  • Suitable for water protection zones 2 + 3
Notice

Premium repair tarmac hardens slowly. Hardening depends on the ambient temperature and compression. The more the material is compressed (by machinery or by driving over it), the faster premium repair tarmac hardens.

The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Due to the large number of applications and storage and processing conditions, we do not assume any liability for a specific application result. Insofar as our free customer service provides technical information or acts as an advisory service, no responsibility is assumed by this service except where the advice or information given falls within the scope of our specified, contractually agreed service or the advisor was acting deliberately. Application area

Premium repair tarmac is a ready-to-use repair tarmac with a long storage life that has been specifically developed for repairing road surfaces (tarmac or concrete), for lasting repairs of damaged areas on roads, paths, squares of all stress classes in accordance with RStO (guidelines for standardising road and traffic).

Suitable for repairing small and larger potholes as well as the final top layer for smaller road breaks when laying cables or smaller cuts in the road surface. Can also be used for makeshift exits or wheelchair ramps.

Instructions

1. Preparation:

Sufficient structural strength of the substrate is necessary to ensure that the repair work lasts. Clean the damaged area carefully. Dirt, standing water, ice and loose parts must be completely removed. To ensure that the minimum layer thickness of 15 mm can be achieved, rework the damaged area, if necessary, until this depth is reached; this is so that a clear rim or wedge compared to the surrounding asphalt can be achieved.

2. Application:

Premium repair asphalt can be directly applied out of the bucket into the damaged spot, without needing to mix the repair asphalt. It is recommended that the bucket be turned on its head before application to ensure that the bonding agent can spread out and an even consistency is achieved. Fill in a little more than is necessary for an even surface. Then compact with a shovel, tamper or plate compactor. Moisten the tamper or tool with water when doing so. For quicker traffic approval/utilisation, it is recommended that the area be compacted mechanically and sand be distributed over the repaired area. Premium repair asphalt is fully resistant immediately after application. The higher the compression (also by driving over it), the quicker the material hardens. Do not use in areas where high point and rotational loads can be expected. Opened products can even be used weeks later. Just make sure you close the bucket tightly. It is recommended that the product be used up within 12 months.
